{"id":914,"date":"2025-11-06T12:40:16","date_gmt":"2025-11-06T15:40:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.forestal.uach.cl\/postgrado\/?p=914"},"modified":"2025-11-06T12:41:56","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T15:41:56","slug":"914-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.forestal.uach.cl\/postgrado\/914-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Acad\u00e9mica de la Universidad de Ays\u00e9n obtiene grado de doctora en la UACh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Se trata de Constanza Becerra Rodas, Ingeniera en Conservaci\u00f3n de Recursos Naturales, graduada del Doctorado en Ecosistemas Forestales y Recursos Naturales.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Con un trabajo que busc\u00f3 comprender c\u00f3mo distintos usos de suelo y perturbaciones antr\u00f3picas impactan sobre la calidad del agua, la retenci\u00f3n de nutrientes y carbono, y otros servicios ecosist\u00e9micos, Constanza Becerra obtuvo el grado de Doctora en Ecosistemas Forestales y Recursos Naturales en la Universidad Austral de Chile. Espec\u00edficamente este programa es impartido por la Facultad de Ciencias Forestales y Recursos Naturales.<\/p>\n<p>Su tesis se titul\u00f3 \u201cBosques templados y provisi\u00f3n de agua de calidad como servicio ecosist\u00e9mico: Un v\u00ednculo cr\u00edtico con las actividades antr\u00f3picas en el sur de Chile\u201d. En este estudio, Constanza Becerra explic\u00f3 que \u201cevalu\u00f3 c\u00f3mo distintos usos de suelo y perturbaciones antr\u00f3picas, principalmente tala selectiva, presi\u00f3n de actividad ganadera y agr\u00edcola, impactan sobre la calidad del agua, la retenci\u00f3n de nutrientes y carbono, y la composici\u00f3n y cantidad de materia org\u00e1nica disuelta y particulada en cuencas con bosques templados del sur de Chile, comparando sistemas conservados versus sistemas degradados\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-916 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.forestal.uach.cl\/postgrado\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/examen_1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"513\" height=\"385\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.forestal.uach.cl\/postgrado\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/examen_1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.forestal.uach.cl\/postgrado\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/examen_1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.forestal.uach.cl\/postgrado\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/examen_1-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.forestal.uach.cl\/postgrado\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/examen_1.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 513px) 100vw, 513px\" \/>A\u00f1adi\u00f3 que este estudio es relevante ya que \u201clos bosques templados mantienen m\u00faltiples procesos y funciones ecol\u00f3gicas que determinan servicios ecosist\u00e9micos esenciales como provisi\u00f3n de agua limpia, regulaci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica y h\u00e1bitat para la biodiversidad. Cuando estos bosques nativos se degradan por actividades antr\u00f3picas se altera la capacidad de retenci\u00f3n y filtraci\u00f3n del sistema, aumentando la exportaci\u00f3n de carbono y nutrientes hacia cursos de agua, disminuyendo la calidad del agua, influyendo en la evasi\u00f3n de di\u00f3xido de carbono y reduciendo la resiliencia biogeoqu\u00edmica de las cuencas hidrogr\u00e1ficas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Algunos resultados<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con lo se\u00f1alado por la acad\u00e9mica, las cuencas hidrogr\u00e1ficas conservadas con mayor cobertura nativa mostraron menor exportaci\u00f3n de nutrientes (N y P) y carbono, y una materia org\u00e1nica disuelta m\u00e1s refractaria y al\u00f3ctona, manteniendo mayor estabilidad hidrol\u00f3gica y biogeoqu\u00edmica.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLas cuencas degradadas exportaron materia org\u00e1nica disuelta m\u00e1s l\u00e1bil, proteica y aut\u00f3ctona, asociada a mayor ingreso de luz a los cauces por perdida de cobertura de bosques, incrementando la productividad primaria, riesgo de eutrofizaci\u00f3n y p\u00e9rdida de calidad del agua\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, indic\u00f3 que los eventos de tormenta amplifican estas diferencias, evidenciando que los paisajes transformados son menos resilientes frente a perturbaciones hidrol\u00f3gicas.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" tambi\u00e9n realiz\u00f3 sus estudios de pregrado y mag\u00edster en esta Facultad, se desempe\u00f1a como acad\u00e9mica del Departamento de Ciencias Naturales y Tecnolog\u00eda de la Universidad de Ays\u00e9n, Patagonia, donde desarrolla docencia e investigaci\u00f3n aplicada en temas vinculados a ecosistemas terrestres y acu\u00e1ticos, servicios ecosist\u00e9micos y restauraci\u00f3n
